Hi peeps,

Anyone got one of the new Canon Wordtank dictionaries? Can you recommend a good model? I want to use it for both a handy briefcase size English Dict. / thesaurus for work, and also to study Japanese. I am probably about level 3 JPT. As they all seem quite expensive, i thought if i'm gonna splash out I should do some research. I can't find any info in English in any of my local stores, or any of the older models. Any comments on these models:

G55
C50
G50
IDF series.

Can you get English manuals for these? (in book format, not PDF)

Any other brands/models you can recommend?

Thanks in advance.

I'd add Seiko SR-M6000 to that list. It's the smallest I've seen of comparable capability and has all the jump functions and whatever, plus very useful examples, and I've found nearly no strange translations that you get in many dictionaries like the ever-popular with the Japanese Exword etc.
