I want to file my taxes for 2011. I just want to do the standard deduction plus the deduction for the NHI premiums I paid. Do I have to go into the tax office to do this? I did it last year, and now it seems pretty simple.

Is there a way to file online or mail it in?

You can mail it in. Enclose a duplicate if you want a receipt.

I dont know where you are but I went to the tax office and they have a website they work through that you can input your data. You will need an ID number to set up your account though. If you dont have it you will probably have to contact the tax department.

Yeah, the e-Tax is a major PITA though as far as I can see. You need not only an ID, but also a special IC card and a card reader for your computer.
