So, maybe Japanese people aren't racist, per se, but rather, stoic? Perhaps they are just cold and unfriendly, even to each other? Perhaps they are just closed-off and it isn't us, but them? Perhaps they are not racist, but boring? Maybe they are only nice when they have to be, or when they want something? Maybe life in Japan sucks? Maybe it's only fun when you're drunk with gaijin and/or banging/on prowl with J-women. Perhaps a normal life here is impossible. And perhaps we never wanted a normal life anyways.

Jack Handey would be proud to have written that.
Anyways, in detail:

Non sequitir. Your biological functions are irregular.
Perhaps they are just cold and unfriendly, even to each other? .
Best quote I ever read on a Japanese language BBS:
Japanese discriminate against each other every day; why should foreigners be exempt
????
FTR, the author was no bigot, much less a racist.
Perhaps they are not racist, but boring? .
Aforementioned non sequitir problem aside, that is an anthropological impossibility.
Individuality is a universal indefatigable quality, individualism merely a tired ideology.
Maybe they are only nice when they have to be, or when they want something?
.
Sounds disturbingly similar to Homo sapiens sapiens.
Orson demands that you reveal your present coordinates, and identify said species.
Perhaps a normal life here is impossible. And perhaps we never wanted a normal life anyways.
Your logic is impeccable captain.
We are in grave danger.

Sir, I believe you may have asperger syndrome. Please learn how us humans talk, as your own warped usage of the english language is baffling.

The only thing harder than being a foreigner in Japan is being Japanese in Japan? Are you kidding?
The Japanese don't have it hard. They got it made! They get to live in this sweet, neon city of endless commotion and culture, where convenience and hot girls abound.
If they just loosened up and learned how to act gaijin-cool, life'd be amazing for 'em.

Have you ever seen how Japanese people treat each other? We foreigners have it easy.

I remember this e-mail from the cutest little Japanese 3rd year university student I was seeing when she started job-hunting...
Why are Japanese people so mean to each other:mad:?
I hate Japanese people!
