She suddenly stopped posting. Same as johnnyrobinson.......last we heard from waller was she got pregnant and was going back to New Zealand. Anybody know the where about of these potters?.

General:
He's probably under the hood of his truck changing head gaskets and wearing his favorite kimono in the evenings while standing at attention and singing "Kimigayo."

Dear J.T,
Congratulations on your having ascended to the esteemed company of the top five all-time Potters. While in terms of informational value, maturity and wit you are likely to remain the odd one out for quite some time hence, you have inarguably matched them in your sheer quantity of clicks on the "Submit" button. Frankly, I could not imagine boasting of such a predicament out of regard for my personal dignity, yet I know that you have, for whatever reasons, devoted a large chunk of your time and effort in recent months, and weathered a veritable downpour of scorn and spittle from other members along the way, to achieve this goal. I for one applaud your enthusiasm.
Yours in friendship,

Silly me, I was so busy fawning over J.T that I forget to address the OP. Sorry, foxy. :)
Kuro Kitty - moved on to greener pastures surely, but those legs are enshrined in her profile.
jonnyrobinson - like eku said, prolly killed by MIL, and prolly rightly so.
waller - might still lurk occasionally. She posted about a month ago. Doing well in NZ, still no wallerby at that time.
limitsnot - still around I guess, maybe busy? Methinks she'll drop us a line quick and psychedelic.
martin - ???

Maybe I`m missing something but I though Iwantmyrightsnow doesn`t post anymore, and haven`t seen anything from Kent (Oh the humanity! post re cheese on toast for plain spaced out price) Brockman recently.
Kurokitty was an Aussie, wasn`t she. Probably couldn`t hack it anymore in Japan and rightly went home. There was also a bloke who was into rap? Seemed angry so if he`s gone it`s best for him as well. You`ve gotta know when your time`s up in Japan!
I`ve decided to go home in March next year, my mate will go in December. The poor bloke had to borrow airfare from me and he hasn`t eaten anything but that ____ white bread from the supa and instant noodles and drunk instant coffee for the last month.

Hey Robred:
Kurokitty I believe returned to OZ as she posted a couple of times after leaving Japan. But then again, she was talking about going to some island in the Caribbean but I think she ended up in OZ and there she be but for lack of any new news.
I read you other post on your existence in the "inaka" and applaud your decision about returning. Too many folks sort of hang on and on and on and then before they know it, they're into middle age etc. At least you came to the realization that perhaps Nippon isn't for you and hey that's OK too - it is an experience one can add to one's resume of life and in 20 years time, you may even have a laugh about it.
Your experiences in the "inaka" do reflect the "island mentality" in many way, i.e., minding other peoples' business and sticking one's nose into somebody else's house etc. etc. But that is the way it works and thar' ain't no way in hell you kin change it. Big cities are quite different - more impersonal so take your pick!! :-)
Anyway sorry to hear about your mate and his "diet" - musta' bin yukky. Best of luck on your new path. R.

Have been biding my time at the non-strikers end, adjusting my box once, twice, three times a lady seated up near Lord Ted demurely meets my silken yet steely gaze with batting eyelashes... another box I stridently hold aloft an ample signal to the Players Box for yet another replacement, guiltlessly so as the whole charade serves adequately to keep that blathering arrogant toothless maw of 12th man JT needlessly preoccupied... avoiding the strike myself as good grace dictates I impale myself on my Daewoo Excalibur XXV upon achieving the hallowed score of 666.

Aha,
thanks for your kind and mostly not so kind remarks.
I feel as if I should address some of your comments about the members of the Top 5. Being as informative as TripHop or PaulH is just not possible. Being as witty as Kurogane is just not possible, and Eku is Eku.
The fact that I just cannot compare with these 4 is indisputable, and I am well aware of this. I feel privileged to be in the Top 5 with them, although I have not yet joined them in the Supreme Pot club.
When you say I have spent far too much time on this forum recently, I would have to agree with you. I just went away for the weekend, and didn't post on GP for three days, and didn't miss it. Frankly, I need to find a better use for my time than posting here. Until I do find something better to do, you're all stuck with me I'm afraid.

No, No, No. They simply got back into the UFOs they came in on, and whirled and twirled away.

Richard - thanks for the comments, mate. Yeah, inaka life has just worn me down in Japan. I was in Gunma some time ago when I did a homestay with a Japanese family but nothing prepared me for the living elsewhere in rural Japan for 4 plus years.
If I could do it again I would live near the city. That was a big mistake I made. There are some really shithouse aparto in the city but I`m living in one in the countryside. The only positive point is its cheaper than what I would pay in the city.
But - some of these people are A grade scumbags. Sadly they are women. I`m not politically correct but I have good women friends and consider myself a man who has genuine appreciation for women and I tried to be non sexist.
Older Japanese women of the variety I life near, however, are nasty pieces of work. They`re lucky they live in Japan - I honestly believe some of the women I`ve had to put up with in inaka would have had their big mouths smashed by a baseball bat were they saying and doing their bullshit outside of Japan.
Then again, I can truly say I`ve never met such repressed, gossiping, nasty, pieces of work as some of these older women. They`re hated but indulged in Japan - the worst thing you can do in trying to deal with them. If I come back (and you should never say never) I`ll live near the city.
As for Kent Brockman - good to hear from you! That cheese on toast post still makes me laugh. And where`s westsan? I`d also like to know just who Shona Morgan or whatever `her` name is. That was a classic too - the geeky photo that looked real and the geeky spiel at the bottom of `her` posts. Shona where are you and who are you?!
