Am I a little mistaken or are the thousand poster people a rather a disturbed lot? Tracing through old posts is rather fun. You find the thousand posters saying the same things over and over and congratulating each other for their "milestones". Is this for real? You can't really be taking yourselves seriously. Why not get off gaijinpot for a while and read a good book?

A good point from the OP re picking up a book.

I've actually just finished reading the final book of Paullina Simons' trilogy 'The Summer Garden'. A good read it is indeed.

Mind you, I have to disagree with the OP casting aspersions about people who have made 1000 posts or more. An average of two or three posts a day over a longish period will easily get you there.

My advice is that you get as life. I know you are lonely but what about joining a club in your local area ????????
