No worries! You can buy your fix online at the Foreign Buyer's Club.

Not cheap, but at least you can get it here.

If you're in Tokyo.
National Azabu supermarket sells it.
I also found a shop in Ginza near Mikimoto pearls selling heaps of foreign food the other day.
They were also selling vegemite.
I bought a few jars yum yum.

A chain named Marushin sells it. You would think all the Meijiya stores as well.

Or you could just go on down to Homac or Autobacs, and get a can of axle grease. To me, they are pretty much one and the same!

Vegemite is a savory spread that you put on bread and toast and is made from a yeast extract. Quite salty but has quite a following among many New Zealanders and Australians.Just as many dont like the taste which has the taste and consistency of shoe polish.

Marmite you can get through FBC as well. To be honest though...who wants it when you can have JjX instead. Yummy!

Vegemite is great!@Good for you too, It is very high in B group vitamins. I guess it is what you get used to, vegemite on toast is a very common breakfast food in Oz, especially for children.
It is a taste that many people grow out of as they get older. While I rarely eat the stuff anymore, I can recall my last trip to Japan, I had a reall craving for a taste of home, and vegemite fit the bill nicely.
