Japanese Driving

hi there ! I want to ask everybody here how to get Japanese International License.All this time i was using my international drving license but i got caught overspeeding and the authorities said i am not allowed to use my license anymore.
The policeman said i have to change my international l. to japanese license.I dont know whats the procedure and the process.Do u have any info about this ?
