Hello,
I currently work for a local municipality and have worked in Japan for 4 years on the same visa. I pay regularly into a pension fund, but I know that when I return to my own country of Australia, I can only claim 3 years worth of the pension that I am paying. Is there anyway to avoid paying this pension money when I will never get it back unless I retire in Japan?
How about paying into a private pension fund in Australia?
