Given that a certain GP poster is clearly wanting to marry a Japanese national to stay in Japan, I thought it would be an opportune time to ask the following question.
How do you view marrying for a visa?
JT ppl marry for many reasons, but its really their own business.

Look, if the potential spouse has a huge credit limit, then marrying for a Visa is probably a smart move. Though, some might prefer a Mastercard.

Getting a spousal visa is a fare kick-back when you are planning for a life-long commitment (at least that is the premise before tying the knot). Make yourself more marketable in the global economy.
