my recommendations
Kemby's, The Shack, Kemby's AM, el Barco - all on gethiroshima.com, any of the bars on that website are great.
Kinsai - a great mom and son izakaya. Near the Deo Deo. Right next the video game shop.
Donちゃん - a music bar that has a whole band set. Drums, Keyboard, Guitars, Bases and everything. Everyone is allowed to play. Nothing hardcore though.
Sumatra Tiger - right next to el barco. The owner keisuke is a hard-core gibson guitar rocker man. www.sumatratiger.com
El Barco - just go!
