Clothing sizes

Does anybody know a good conversion table for figuring out Japanese clothing sizes?

Right now I'm trying to find out what the pants sizes are. I've checked many websites and they all give (sometimes erroneous) sizes for just about everything but pants.

Currently, I'm about a North American size 32-33 depending on the cut.

Pant waist sizes in Japan are almost always in centimetres. But jeans tend to be measured in inches! I don't have my calculator handy but 1 inch = 2.54cm.. Waist sizes in Japan tend to go up in 2cm increments. But they max out at 88 or 90cm.

You'll be fine with 32-33, most shops alter the leg length free-of-charge.
