Sony Camcorder

In the next few weeks i'm going to buy a Sony PC300K camcorder, the price is great but all in japanese, not really a big problem can figure it out.

Have checked out websites in other countries but the cost is nearly double for the same machine...why???

also is it possiblr to change the software in the camcorder to English???

I'm not sure about the specific camcorder that you purchased, but I own a couple of Sony items (NetMD, digi cam) and have had no trouble switiching back and forth between Japanese and English. In addition, both User Manuals had English text.
