I was curious if the TESOL course offered by Canadian Institute of English in Kanagawa is worth it or not. http://www.ciejapan.com/ The link is a Japanese site.
I would appreciate any info about the above mentioned or the best way to obtain a TESOL certificate in Japan.

If you are considering a distance course I would highly recommend the course by English International. It's taught by Jeff Mohamed who has worked as a CELTA trainer for many years. It's really reasonably priced too.

Any TEFL course that offers a minimum of 120 hours of instruction AND at least 10 hours of observed teaching practice is probably ok for Japan. Make sure whatever program you enroll in meets those specs, otherwise it's probably not worth spending the money.
