If you watch only one news video today, make it Wolf Blitzer's recent interview with Vice President ____ Cheney.
I am not a huge fan of Blitzer, but the interview yesterday was incredibly revealing. In it we see ____ Cheney coming unglued. The mask is off Vice President as he expresses with no uncertain terms his contempt and disdain for journalists, the democratic process, the American people, and anything vaguely resembling the truth.
____ Cheney's message to the American people? Iraq is an "enormous success" and you "won't stop us."
In other words, ____ Cheney is trying his best to frame anyone who disagrees with him as an accomplice to terrorism.

Or because of "undisclosed health reasons," thereby opening the door for a first time female vice-pres whilst minting a new GOP 2008 candidate.
Watch for Condi. It will be the GOP's in- your-face Hillary move.
Also, no doubt in the twisted mind of the GOP, they will certainly rationalize the "thrusting of her" in to the race as; the Dems got a black, we need one too.

Cheney is intent on strengthening the power of the president’s office, that’s his no. 1 priority. Bush listens to Cheney only. W has ignored the American people, Congress, his generals, his friends, and the whole world. Cheney’s influence outstrips them all. Makes you yearn for the good old days when there were vice presidents like Dan Quayle.
