Is there a correlation between being sexually abused and suicide? The suicide rate among homosexuals is higher than other segments of society. Why do so many in the gay lifestyle commit suicide? The trend is ominous. Feel free to discuss it amongst yourselves.

What about those who whack off to gay porn? Are they more suicidal than the guys who whack off to straight stuff, but do so on the weekend?

Or straight guys that whack off to gay wallaby porn on the weekend? They'd have to be the most suicidal, I reckon.

What about straight guys that whack gay wallabies off to straight porn on weekdays compared with gay wallabies that whack off straight guys to gay wallaby porn on the weekend?

the original poster's post implies that homosexuality is linked to child abuse. This, as far as I'm concerned, is pure nonsense and is reflective of the poster's lack of understanding and knowledge of homosexuality.

I put my money on the fact that people are born gay (or straight). There are still some folk in this troubled world that think homosexuality is a choice. I ask you: who the fu#k would choose a life of having to hide their feelings and emotions (and ulitmately their true self) during teenage years. Who would choose a life that one knows is generally shunned by the rest of society?

Certainly not me.

I am gay and I wasn't sexually abused as a child (I don't consider sitting on Uncle Jack's knee as child abuse, cos Uncle Jack was hot).

And as for suicide and homosexuality...........yep, gay teenagers are more at risk to suicide than their straight counterparts. It's a sad state of our society.....but of course it is changing and will continue to change for the better (and more quickly, once biggots like Bush and the Ausie PM Howard are out of power...whcih is also inevitiable).

The alleged link of MasterbaterofWisdom's is with sexual abuse, not child abuse per se, although there's certainly an overlap and they both correllate to higher suicides. Why he tagged them with homosexuality may reflect his suppressed sexual nature, as is often the case with aggressive homophobes.

As for Howard and Bush, couldn't agree more. Latham pinned his name on the door when he labelled Howard a US arselicker, and I've bets for a bottle of drambuie each on both of the bigots looking for work by Christmas. Nuff said.
