hi ! i am French, living in Paris. i will take a break soon for one or two years. i want to go to Japan and work and study japanese language overthere. hope somebody can help me for find a job like French teacher or work in restaurant or another job. i read that i need a job to acces to rentl an appartment, is it true ??? please help me, i love Japan. i speak English and Japanese (intermediate level). thanks so much for all ! You are taking a break from what? Taking a break from France?
You can live in a gaijin house. I don't think you need to have a job. Just have some money and they will rent you a room.
I just saw a job for a French teacher. Have you searched the employment postings on this website? I think you will find one.

thanks for reply. i go to Tokyo on 13 September until 18, i will surch and take some information about that. i work in France, but i can take free time for some months, and hope stay in Japan and study. but i need some money other there...merci encore. bye ! Philippe

Planet hollywood is opening in Yokyo in December, and are looking for experienced waiting and bar staff. They're down by Tokyo disneyland. Try them, they're very gaikokujin friendly.
