It's been a month and 2 weeks since i shipped 3 boxes from JP post (5th February) and i haven't received nothing yet in Australia. I was told it'd take a month at most but i thought i'll give a couple weeks leeway. Has anyone else from Australia experienced longer than expected shipping via JP post? I'm looking at my receipts and there's no contact number to track where my items are.

since you said

I haven't received nothing yet

technically speaking, that would mean that you have received something. I will assume that what you meant was either that you simply haven't received it all yet, or haven't received anything yet.

Did you send it surface or SAL?

I would say up to 2 months for surface, sometimes 3, IHOMO.

I know a man that teaches at a university.

I sent a bunch of stuff from Oz to Japan and it also took about 3 weeks longer than expected. It turned out that there wasn't enough space on the scheduled ship and my deliveries spent a couple of weeks at a port in Singapore. Everything arrived in tip top shape. Maybe you should be making a few calls to find out what's going on.

Whoops, no contact number. Did you have the stuff insured? Surely there's number to make a claim, maybe they can help you.

Take a look.

But like Mr F said, sitting tight is probably not a bad idea.

NEVER send things SAL!! Those damn monkeys always open your packages and take stuff out. Wear your dresses, eat your bananas...

Well it seems like you guys were right with hanging tight. I got one of my boxes today which seems about 2 months now. Looks like they did have a look and opened a couple things but nothing damaging. Now just gotta wait for my other 2 boxes :p

Well i wasn't sure until i received my 2nd box today which had a sticker on the box saying "Opened for inspection by Australian Quarintine" and they also put a pamphlet in saying nothing was removed. They did however to damage a few boxes holding toys, like a huge astroboy one but i'm not really a toy collector so i can rub that off.
