I am following my dear friend and JET to her assigned city of Fukui. Although I am totally prepared to work in a different prefecture I would love to be able to live an work in the same city as her. I am a non-jet and have tried esljobfinder, eltnews, ohayo sensei, ___________ with very little luck. Why is it that certain prefectures have tons of jobs and others have none? For example: I have yet to see a job posting for Kanazawa. Is it that people don't want to leave? If anyone has any ideas about pinpointing language schools in a particular city I am all ears. I am trying to avoid signing my life away to a mega language corporation. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
