Anyone know which English conversation schools provide housing? I know Aeon has furnished apartments available, can anyone else give me more info on the matter? What other schools have apartments ready for teachers and how would you rate the accomodations?

I'm pretty sure the JET program provides housing. I'm not sure abou tother programs/schools though.

NOVA provides an apartment, but they charge you for it, big time. Why is it so important to you to have housing provided?

thanks for the info. Judging from all the negative vibes floating around with Nova I've opted not to consider them. Although, i'm not certain if Aeon is any better.
Anyway, I don't really have any living arrangements sorted out so I was looking for something that would make my return to Japan a little easier. I don't really have many options so this is why i'm asking about living arrangements.

When you return to Japan, you might want to just hang out in a gaijin house for the first couple of months. That'll give you time to decide where else to live once things settle down.

JET program towns often give free housing though they're not required to. Rarely will a JET AET have to pay full price on housing. JET is the best deal for English teaching, IMHO.
