Hello everybody,
I'm in Japan and I would love to stay here for a while.
I'm desperately trying to find a job as Italian teacher in the Tokyo area.
I've a University degree and a post graduate certificate from an Italian university.

Can anybody tell me the names (and contacts: web pages, email addres...) of some schools that might be looking for Italian teachers? Do you think I can be sponsored?
Do you have any other useful information?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Grazie! Ciao!

TRY BERLITZ!!
They teach not only English but a whole range of other foreign languages and they have a better reputation that most English schools around Tokyo. Training is paid and the 3 month probation period is also paid.
My friend has worked for Berlitz for the past year teaching English and she has no problems with them whatsoever.
Have a look on their website and send your resume to the email address shown. They will send you an application form that you return to them and they will contact you about the interview once they have gone through your details.
Good Luck!

Thanks Gaijin,
unfortunately I've already tried berlitz. They came back to me very soon and they were very nice. But they could only offer part time positions for other languages teachers (not English). This means no sponsor and jobs for people with work visa only. And actually this condition is also stated on their website.
Sigh!
do you know any other name? Maybe also some 'not famous' ones?

thanks
