I currently live in Sendai, working part-time at a language school. I can't work a full-time job because I take Japanese classes in my free time, not to mention that the job market is pretty tight here. However, at the moment, I'm only making enough money to scrape by. I work until about 9 pm everyday, so I'm looking for a job after those hours.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good, safe hostess bars in Sendai. (I know there are tons in Kokubuncho) I'm not a prostitute or a stripper (nor do I have anything against anyone who is), so I'd like to find a place that just does the chatting/pouring drinks thing. In particular, information on places that would be willing to hire foreigners would be really helpful. Just as a side-note, I do not look foreign, so I don't have the advantage of an exotic look. Every stranger I meet thinks I am Japanese.
Aside from hostessing, I am willing to try waitressing, bartending - just about anything, if the employer is willing to train a foreigner. Thanks for your help!
