Feeling a little bored now that I'm in Tokyo. Ofcourse, I was much more bored living in Yamanashi working at an Eikiawa school. Teaching English to hairstylists in Yoyogi is certainly an improvment. Still, I can't help feeling that there is a real lack of culture here or that I'm just not in on it. When I say say culture I just mean being part of an arts or music scene, exchanging ideas with others , creating whatever.
Let me get to the point. I'd like to get together with some like minded people and work on music. I studied piano(mostly classical) at university, have played in several rock bands, and used to write electronic music back in the mid 90's. I'm open minded to many kinds of music but have a special affinity for that which incorporates some kind of electronica. If you like Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada, Travis, Beck, Lollipop Factory or Radiohead then we may have something in common.
P.S., although this is under the careers forum, I'm not so concerned about making
money.
P.P.S., contrary to what I think, most people tell me I'm an awful singer.
