Hi,
I'll be traveling to Japan in about two weeks. I'm only staying about 12 days. However, what do you suggest I do about money. Should I convert a bunch of $$ into yen before I go?
I'll be in Tokyo the entire time. Is it better to find an ATM and get my Yen there?
Any help or suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Justin

Use an ATM.
Only available from 0845 - 2100 weekdays, maybe 0900-1700 Sat and 0900-1600 Sun, depending on bank.
Only Citibank is 24hr service

The ATM will cost you a furtune in exchange rates and sevice charges.....Transfer it to American Express Travelers cheques and Yen but remeber that you will need to cash in your cheques in the cities bigger banks....aslo if you get your cheques in Yen you won't need to pay the exchange fees out here! Aslo living out in Tokyo i only know of 2 city banks ...one in Shibuya and the other in Omoto-Sando
