Can anyone share some information about living in Japan and being gay? I'm a 27 year old woman and I don't know what to expect so far as the social scene goes. I'll be in Osaka, God knows the city is big enough, but I would like to know if there is any sort of gay community before I arrive.

Advice? Personal experiences? Any good stories about your neighbor's cousin?

Hey Canuck Girl,
No personal experiences for you as I am not gay, but a friend of mine is investigating this same thing and he read somewhere that there is a small but very active gay scene in Tokyo, so I imagine there will be something similar in Osaka.
