I hope to get a placement with Nova in July this year. I've researched various regions and think that Kansai (esp Kobe and Kyoto) OR Hokkaido look like fantastic places to live; also Kobe was recommended by a friend.
Does anyone in this forum live in/has visited Kansai or Hokkaido? What are the best/worst things about it? Has anyone lived in both places? Which is best?
I've been a big citydweller in Sydney for the past 5 years and would LOVE to get away from the big cities and into nature, esp countryside/seaside.
