  • Internet Groceries Delivered in Shinkuku??

I would like to order groceries by internet and have them delivered in Shinjuku Ward.

    Any recommendations?

I'm talking fresh vegetables and japanese products, NOT import stuff.

    Thanks for your help.

I use the Foreign buyer's club quite often... they have the best selection avaliable in Japan.
      www.fbcusa.com

it usually takes a month from stuff directly shipped from the usa, and theres also a 'deli' which delivers a lot of popular items within a week.
when i get my craving for captain crunch, I use fbc..
A bit spendy though, but if you really need it.

The OP said he did NOT want imported stuff, so the FBC is not what he's looking for.

          Internet Groceries Delivered in Shinkuku??

          Not much luck so far...

I went to the COOP Seikatsu Club site. It was pretty hard to navigate with my poor Japanese.

          Any English local grocery sites?

Does anyone know the URL for the Tokyo Dean & Deluca or Queen's Chef?

          Thanks!

                Lucky Scott,

I know many people who use the COOP's grocery delivery services. I recommend getting a set of catalogues from them. Yes, it's all in Japanese, but they are just like the gorcery store fliers; each item has the picture & price to go with it.

You'll get a set of catalogues every week, and need to pay 200-400* yens each week to cover the cost of delivery. *Different COOP clubs charge different amount for the delivery fee. Just ask someone to contact COOP for you. Good luck!

                  Co-op

I have tried a two companies online. Radish Boya and Oisix. Luckily my wife did all of it

Radish Boy has the freshest veggies ever!! We loved it but it was expensive. Oisix had lesser quality IMO but the delivery was better. If you aren't home when Radish Boya shows up they leave it on your step or somewhere in the yard etc. Oisix uses black cat etc so you can schedule the delivery whenever.

I am interested in Co-op but I was told that we have to have a meeting with someone in our home to signn up. I really didn't like the sound of it.

Does anyone have any insight regardin signing up with Co-op?

                  Regards,

                  BloodBeard
