Yes, its a good one. If you're in Tokyo, go to Map Camera.

cool thanks man. my friend recommended them also. i was shopping around shinjuku today and came across a kiss x5 with the standard 18-55 lens kit. the kit is complete and costs a little under 50,000yen. i was a second away from buying it but apparently its a floor model and not just a trade in. would you guys advise against floor models?

        Compare it with:
        http://kakaku.com/item/K0000226437/?...kakuitem_title

        and then Amazon

        http://www.amazon.co.jp/Canon-%E3%83...6130163&sr=8-1

and then make a decision. Floor model will still have a one-year warranty and you might get shoppers' card points.

Its a bit out of the way, west of Meguro, but I've had nothing but good experiences from Sanpoh Camera.

They don't have any secondhand versions of that particular model in stock on their site, but it always lags behind in-store stock.

Lemonsha in Ginza is another go-to store for me. They are more focused towards Leica, Hassel and such but have a pretty deep stock.

I sometimes buy used staff at sofmap.com. The EOS Kiss X4 with lens is sold there for Y 42,800. The 3-Year guarantee is another Y 3,000
