  • Getting a job

Hi, I am Joel from the UK. I finish my Degree in Japanese this summer and don't have a clue about how to get a job in Japan. I can write, read and speak Japanese at advanced level (Newspapers whatever) Has anyone been in my position before, and have you any suggestions ? I'd like to work in Ningenkankei in a large English school, something like that.
Anyway, I'm off now. Hope someone can help.
    THanks guys,
    Joel

    Re: Getting a job

You have 2 options. Come to Japan and hunt while you're here. Or, look for an employer who hires overseas applicants.

Check out www.___________.com for postings twice a month, or Dave's ESL Cafe for daily updates (and more discussion forums).

Teaching English is the largest vehicle for recent grads to come to Japan. You
can also try several headhunting firms that can help. And The Japan FAQ
at http://thejapanfaq.cjb.net also has some useful info and links.
