  1. Hello everyone,

I'm new here so treat me good. I strive to keep a positive attitude no matter what I do and remain optimistic. With that said...

I'll just get straight to the point. I am currently 30 and just finishing up my AA degree in Economics, 19 more classes and I will have a BA in Economics with a minor in International Affairs. My plan is to move to Japan to pursue an MA in Economics, although not sure what area of Econ as yet. I'm looking at several universities; U of Tokyo, Nagoya U, Kyoto U, or Osaka U. With my current plan I'll be going on 33 by the time I get my BA. Tangible reasons for choosing Japan is language, culture, experience, and global citizenship. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience as me or similar aspirations? If not, anyone out there who can give me some advice as to the best strategy of attack? I'm originally from Jamaica but have lived in the US for 18 years, I'm ready to see more of the world.
