Well I think the best that I can get would be to convert all my money in Australia, but carrying around large amounts of cash is probably not a safe option.

I did a quick calc and assumed that atm uses a rate on average of 97 (with the bank fees charged) and converting cash at a rate of 92 (with no fees to convert) and it looks like you guys are right,...

But what kind of exchange rates could I expect from withdrawing money at an ATM? Anybody withdraw money recently with a HSBC card that can tell me what exchange rate they got?
