Do all ATMs from the UK take a photo of who is withdrawing the money when it is withdrawn and store it for a long time afterwards to check if the person who used the card and PIN number is the face of the true owner?
I withdrew some money using my gran's PIN number and her cash card a few weeks ago in a UK bank, she got all the money, but is going mad and accusing people of all sorts, i don't want a criminal record. If the police investigate and I say she withdrew the money herself, would the police be able to prove it was me from stored photos taken by the ATM from times I withdrew?

ATM`s in the UK and the US keep photos for twenty years. They are not kept at the ATM`s themselves but at a government facility. All the police have to do is input your Gran`s account number and pin number and they get a record of every ATM transaction done on her account with nice 8x9 photos with arrows pointing to the person doing such transaction. Looks like you are screwed.!

ATMs know nuttin - only people and a few animals can be accused of knowin sumptin. If the police ask - you better be atellin the truth - that you withdrew the money. Only for ATMs that have cameras nearby - will there be photographic evidence, and not all ATMs will have them.
Next time wear a mask, hood, put a pillow up your backside so you look like a huch-back, walk with a cane, wear gloves, say nothing, ... and then you might get away with robbing the old and weak - and your own grandmother at that. Just how low can one sink....
