What's up, I'm living in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka. Wondering how many other people are around here or near here. No, I'm not in the service nor ever was, I just live with my wife and sons ironically.

considering the amount of TOTAL BABES that are the crux of Fukuoka,
yeah, its ironic,
shame about those "smoke tents" BTW.
I said ironic because I'm living in a predominately service area and am not in the service. Any time I meet a foreigner who is English or Japanese speaking, they ask or automatically assume I am in the service. Same like when I was living in Sasebo, because there's even more bases there.
So, anyone from here? I'm from NYC by the way, in case anyone else is, we can talk about how NY has changed, which is one of the reason I left it.

I've been here various times, I don't need to know anything really. I just wanted to know who lived here. I know a lot of people in the fashion, and night life scene in Japan and NYC and have been around so when I do go out, I never have a boring time wherever go, I guess I may know the right people.

I have a friend named Kensei who used to work for a clothing store based in Harajuku called Swagger who I used to hang out with a lot in NY and in Tokyo, but he left the shop and started a modeling career. I also know a few cats from Supreme, since I have friends in the NYC shop, as well as from Alife. They are mostly younger style clothing companies, but I dabble with them from time to time. One of my good friends is an artist who does a lot of Yaoi manga named Hiroki Otsuka, but he's staying in NYC, probably for good since he makes good money there, and you know the art scene in Japan is nowhere near like it is in NYC, which is my wife's work is on halt for the time being (she worked with William Ryman as a direct apprentice and head sculpture/painter.)
I actually need to meet more people here in Fukuoka, but I have some friends in Jungle Kumamoto, they're a part of a skateboarding/piste/graffiti "movement" scene going on that I guess is pretty local/underground. My friend owns a cafe and a clothing shop in Sasebo but is expanding to NYC soon, and another is doing the same but in California. I'm trying to do the same, I'm trying to open a small cafe/restaurant but with a ghetto NYC theme, like a Bodega look with those tacky flashing lights they used to have back in the days... Maybe. I have 2 supporters so far, but I need to work my ___ off for the time being, that's more like 2-4 years later. I know more people in Sasebo since I've lived there the most time, I only been in Fukuoka for 2 weeks, but I used to come to Fukuoka with my friends from Sasebo or just alone to meet people and view the sites. It's a beautiful but crowded city I suppose.

Well, I didn't want to go TOO into what my idea is, but I would love to hear your input for it... There's a lot more to it, but I don't want to put it out in the open because of the many I've told about it, they thought it was a great idea.
I need time to find places out, but I'd love to hang one day if you ever were around. I googled "Oyafukadori" but found no results, so you'll have to fill me in on that! My name's Anthony, by the way. You can find some tidbits about me on my website. I'm just trying to meet new people and have good times wherever I go, because that's what life is all about in my opinion. Peace for now, going to go exchange currency and buy items for the home. It sucks computing on a futon lol.
