My wife used to watch that show all the time. :/ One episode had Shinsuke lecturing this lady for dumping her younger boyfriend for cheating on her. Then all the young girls in the audience clapped. And then lecturing this guy for daring to want some affection from his wife, who had turned totally cold after having kids. "She doesn't want to hug you! She wants to hug her kids!!" Can't stand his know-it-all smugness, and how all the other "talents" have to show proper respect for him because he has the most experience in the room at being a buffoon.

In case you dont remember he was off the air for about 6 months a year or so ago because he punched one of his female underlings and dragged her around by the hair. Got busted for assault and had to fall on his sword as a result. The guy is a pompous hypocrite and a bully.

Many years ago he also co-hosted some show with Kent Delicott (?) Cretin knew full well that Kent was straight laced and uncomfortable talking about sex. So of course he spent most of the time making really nasty/sexual comments knowing that the guy was too nice/passive to make any kind of comeback remarks. The guy should be tossed into a wood chipper on live TV.

Of course there's actually a Buddhist fable where the Buddha asks if a sweet, gentle Lady of Nobility who has never laid a hand on her servants is good or bad... The Buddha then asks what would happen if a servant were to begin to neglect her duties, to the point where the Lady hits the servant. The point being that the Lady was never good; that she was bad the whole time, and she had only not committed any bad acts because they weren't in her best interests to commit.

Who's that little girl that sings enka? Sakura Maya I think? Can't stand her. I was watching an amateur talent contest on TV once, and the gimmick was that halfway through the song the real singer would come out on stage and sing along. Every single singer was decent enough to do it duet style or hang back and take it easy so that the amateur wouldn't be outshined. EXCEPT this girl, who came out and sang super loudly so that the amateur girl could do nothing but just stand there on the stage awkwardly.

Yeah, is she from North Korea? A bit similar to scary children, performing to "great leader".
