Default Universities that follow the U.S. Academic Calendar / Summer Programs

Hello! This is my first post here.

Please forgive me if this question has been asked previous. If it has, please direct me to that thread.

I am looking into universities in Japan that either follow the U.S. academic calendar (meaning Fall Term: Aug/Sept-Dec, Spring: Jan-April/May) or have programs that follow that calendar, or have extensive summer language programs.
I know that Japan in general follows a completely different system, which is why I am inquiring. The only schools I have found so far are ICU and Kansai Gaidai (which has an Asian Studies Program from Aug/Sept-Dec).
I am a science major at my university, and it is next to impossible for me to take a semester with no science courses, and I only want to do one semester abroad.

I understand that such universities/programs are rare, so I was wondering if there were any universities with extensive (1 month or more) summer language programs. I have looked into Doshisha University (which is only 3 weeks) and Ritsumeikan University (which is about 5 weeks).

I'm looking into scholarships in addition to these programs (I learned that I did not get the U.S. CLS Scholarship the other day), so if you have any information on scholarships as well, that would also be helpful.

Thank you, and sorry for all the questions. Again, if they have already been asked, please direct me to those other threads.

You may want to look into Kwansei Gakuin University in Hyogo. Not sure about starting dates but they have a lot of foreign students there and its a brand-name school.
