Now Johnson is making threats against Adelstein, who called him out on his lies:
“I will tell you very frankly that I am a 6-foot, 200-pound guy from a rough part of the Detroit area, and I’ve been through too much – 9 wars, where I lost 7 friends – to let anyone disrespect me.”
“Who the hell are you talkin to me like this? You think your ___ is powerful? You are a 5-foot 6, 150 lb dweek in shorts and sunglasses looking over your shoulder in a crowd.”
“Where I come from, you don’t mess with a man’s car, a man’s woman, a man’s dog, or a man’s job. You go behind someone’s back, and they come knockin on your front, with a shotgun.”
“I’ll be at the FCCJ in coming days and will be looking for you mofo.”
This Johnson sounds like a total wanker. I'm sure his threats are as idle as his gulag claims. It's be fun if he have a round or two on the Pot to take a bit of abuse.
I think it's true and that's good enough for me.
What an idiot. It's too bad they let him back in the country.
The only thing in Japan that is harder than being a foreigner in Japan, is being Japanese in Japan.
In 6 to 8 months time CJ will re-invent himself as a recovering alcoholic.

Chris Johnson seems to have a weird fetish, obsession or fascination with drinking alcohol - to excess, on a Monday when normal people are busy at work. The way he writes about it, you would think he's referring to some mysterious type of peyote or similar drug. He comes across as a juvenile college kid, not a "40-something over da hillbilly".

There was so much water under our bridges, we couldn't just blow apart years of friendship and a dozen albums over a few minor disagreements. Though our problems were often rooted in drinking, so was the solution.Ken Y-N would probably be fun to drink with. I can imagine he and Debito resolving their differences in my house, after drinking beer, gin, vodka and sake from 11 am on a Monday morning.Inviting James and Japan Probers over for a Monday drinking session might not work. James of Japan Probe make no pretense of even trying to make drinking buddies with certain journalists.Despite all this, I would gladly invite Our Man in Abiko (or whatever his name is) for a Monday morning drinking session, given our mutual appreciation for spirits. He would find out that I was an Anglophile long before I was a Japan-o-phile. I idolized Paul Weller as a teenager, and watched England, Super England, beat powerhouses Belgium, Cameroon and other teams at the 1990 World Cup in Italy. I began my career as a college soccer reporter, and I even worked with the Beeb at the 2002 World Cup in Japan. I'm fond of singing British hooligan anthems in stadiums, and know every line from Fawlty Towers by heart. But I also wonder if Our Man in Abiko can hold his drink like my Japanese friends can, and whether his Leicester cheese and 7-Eleven Bordeaux would end up all over our nice tatami mat floors.
Still, for the purpose of redemption and reconciliation, I should probably invite them over to our house for a Monday morning drinking session to resolve differences. But I'm afraid they might never leave. They might become obsessed with our dogs or plants. They might drink everything in our cupboards, maybe even the Olive Oil and Soya Sauce. They simply don't know when to quit.
The fact that either of you would take his rambling serious enough to out his real name on the net, and/or call his real-life workplace is a little more disturbing to me than anything he's said in the past.
The only thing in Japan that is harder than being a foreigner in Japan, is being Japanese in Japan.
Oh look, pussyman and gaybowtokyo fondling each other's nads.
I think it's true and that's good enough for me.
I don't think they are nice things to say - but is anyone the worse off by him saying it? Has anyone been physically hurt? Has anyone had any real-life problems as a result of his saying so?
Didn't you ever learn that old adage "sticks and stones will break my bones..."?
Sure they are reprehensible things to say, but that's all they are, things said. Now, if he had ever done any of the stuff in real life, I'd say string him up by his nuts.
The only thing in Japan that is harder than being a foreigner in Japan, is being Japanese in Japan.
Do so! By all means and then he can expect to be outed and possibly slapped with a libel/slander suit. It's always wise to remember that unless you are using a robust security program your details can be easily accessed, your profile hacked and outed and your life ruined.

You take this stuff way too seriously.
The only thing in Japan that is harder than being a foreigner in Japan, is being Japanese in Japan.
If he's got tenure then I'm sure he'll follow up. And if you should try it with me, my boss (that's me as I'm self employed) will surely give you short shrift.
In the meantime I suggest you take your meds and just CHILL because it's all BS and everyone with the exception of a few know that it's BS.
Paduwan in you great evil I sense
Well, I challenged him and all he did was get the mods to remove my posts. I'd love for Kuro to try to sue me for libel. How laughable. Him on tenure? Give me a break. He is more than 50 years old and has time for 25,000 puerile, bullying posts - he is truly worthless. He should be grateful to be teaching Engrish. Contrast him to another inveterate poster, the noble KB, at least the latter tries to help people on this forum.
I've never expressed any hostility to you Mr Ad Astra. You cannot compare to Kuro. He has threatened to rape babies. Nobody can come close to that.
Glad to know you are self employed BTW -my regards to the goldfish.
You never know about people, their online and real life personas can be entirely different. I know a number of people from the GP forums in RL and of those people only 4 of them know me as my GP alias but what really sticks out is that a few of the biggest idiots on this forum are fairly successful in RL.
This reminds me of a character named Rupert Voll, he was the bane of syndicated columnists around the world during the print era. You'd think he had no life but, it turned out that he was a successful German ex pat and pillar of his community here in Tokyo.
Kuro talks the talk but, he's never walked the walk. And as long as he's just talking I'm inclined to let him run his mouth. The day he stops talking and starts acting on his baser instincts will be the day Vancouver gains a very adept serial killer.
Paduwan in you great evil I sense
I think you meant Rudolf Voll aka Rudolph Voll:
http://hoffster.blogspot.jp/2008/11/...oll-is-97.html
Rudolph escaped Berlin and the Gestapo in the 1930s and while making his way out of Shanghai by boat was blown by a typhoon to Japan. He settled in there for the war and got started in shipping pearls to Europe. That remains his career, and Aloha is running the business from Bangkok. They've still got offices in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
If he's still alive, then he'll be 101 this year ...
Also http://kojimapearl.com/a-tradition
That's the gentleman, the bane of syndicated writers around the world. According to Corky, he and Jean would receive at least one letter a week from Rudolf and they'd feel obligated to include one or two of his missives in their editorials once a month. Back then it cost a lot of money, time and effort to be a successful troll, these days trolls have it so easy.

Is Rainboy still defending his defence of this ridiculous hysterical pseudo-journalist (the purported subject of this thread), even after he wrote far more violent and threatening stuff than I ever would???
Or is he just deploying his old red herring defence????
Even though it has nothing to do with this thread. At all.RT: Teacher, Kurogane said mean stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kurogane said mean stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least if he joins the journalist's club, he can hang out with this Chris Johnson character, and get stinking drunk by noon Monday.
Anyways, I might be off target here, but if EffA was referring to our joking plan to out him, ummmm, he outed himself, didn't he?
Good RT comedy if nothing else.
RT: I would only join a club that wouldn't have me as a member!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very few people are fortunate enough to reach middle age without losing a few friends along the way.

This journalist seems pathetic. I hope Japan will never allow him to come back here
Judging by the some video footage I found, it looks like he might already be back, and if half of what the record shows is true, then the Gaijin Gulag is everything he says it is.
We may even owe the little cry baby a collective apology.
Anyways, do a search on Interracial 5 (Kasumi Matsumura).
The hard truths of the Tokyo Lockup will surely curdle your loins.

Maybe his therapist recommended this as a way to 'get over' his traumatic experience during his 4-hour imprisonment...
He He He.
Yeah, definitely 2 of a type, anyways, with that sketchy looking grease monkey effect.
The guy in the video gets done down for littering, if I remember.
And he certainly has a Chris Johnson like spastic temper thing going.

The CJ character is funny enough - especially that nonsense about being a world traveler - but for foreign 'journalists' there is no substitute for this guy. Apparently he says in his article that 'I am 190 cm and tall in Japan'. That is a good example of the mental illness that befalls many of the self important gaijin here.
This is the guy - there's a link to his photo - even more interesting than CJ's too if that is possible
