Skype Hijacking anyone?

Hi all...

In the last 3 months, I have been having issues with Skype and just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same. My Skype account keeps getting hijacked and sends out multiple messages, and or binaries to everyone on my contact list. I change my account, and it continues...

Im well versed in Internet securities, have strong password(s) but this is eluding me. For example: I created a new account, added my old contact(which was accepted <-- WTF?), and see my old account as online(but do not disturb setting), although Im logged into(on another PC), as my new account.

Everyone on my contact list is kinda pissed and miffed as to why this account is sending out data from my older user name.

Is this happening to anyone else( I suspect not )?

There are a few people on GP, that I communicate with VIA Skype, so please be aware that my old account should be deleted promptly. My new account seems ok, and is not sending out any messages/binaries.

But Jesus, wtf?

Did you ever use Skype from a public computer? That might be the reason.

I feel your pain. Something similar happened to me after I used a public computer.

Nope, I stay away from public internet places(unless I'm drunk and just want t a place to crash, but dont use the pc there)...

I'm starting to think the oba-san next door to us is some kind of l337 haxor...
