so i screwed up..... forgot to take out enough cash before golden week. i have a japan postal bank and tried to use a couple konbini atms but it just wont work. does anyone know of any way i can access my account?
i have an american chase bank account with a few hundred bucks in it. do you think that will be accessible? anyone have an idea how i can make this work?

In addition to the Plus symbol, any of these other ones ought to work at the 7/11:

thanks for the help guys. chase card has a plus symbol and it ended up working at 7-11. one other question regarding debit cards in japan. i was going to buy myself a used camera. would it be wiser to take the cash out of my chase account and buy it visa cash or should i just swipe and charge it to my debit card? does anyone know if the fees would be larger to swipe or to withdraw it from a 7-11?
