Hey everyone,
I have a situation that I need some guidance on.
I'll be starting classes at Naganuma in Tokyo on July 2nd. I've received my CoE and am getting it stamped and approved.
I have a part-time teaching offer at a non-profit for which I'm scheduled to begin working at the end of July.
Now, I understand that I need to apply for a Work Permit. How would I go about this and what approvals would I need to obtain ? How long would it take to receive the permit ?

usually the school applies for the work permit on your behalf. just push the school that you wanna start working and hopefully they'll take care of it for you. normally they wait about a month before applying for your work permit so they know you'll be a good student.
