Time is ticking away for Julian Assange and he only has a few days of freedom left before he is sent to Sweden to face trial for two alleged sex assaults. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18261670
And when Sweden is done with him, it looks like he will get a free one-way ticket to the USA, with all accomodation provided for at least a decade, probably more.
Love him or hate him, JA has the courage of his convictions and has made the world a more open place. He has conceded that his future is looking bleak. An interesting article from the Rolling Stone earlier this year: http://www.rollingstone.com/politics...rview-20120118
Assange is soon to discover, as Bobby Fisher did, that Uncle Sam is not kind to people who question the status quo. Whilst Fisher was borderline schizophrenic, Assange cannot claim that defence. Serious jail time awaits him and the world will be poorer for it. There is nowhere to hide. The smartest thing he can do now is to skip bail and flee to Russia or to some other country that will not extradite him.
His debut on Russia TV here: http://www.rt.com/news/wikileaks-rev...nge-interview/
Run Julian Run!
