My japanese wife has inherited an old apartmentbuilding with 6 flats approximately 10 minutes from Higashi Kawaguchi station, it has 4 empty small flats which the Realtor we are using fail to find occupants for.

I am now thinking about doing it myself by approaching the foreign community in Tokyo.

Anyone with experience doing this? All help and advises welcome. What to do and not to etc.....
