    Default Shooting Ranges in Japan

    Hey everyone, new here.
Gonna start out with a question I've been wondering about. Long story short I just got back from studying abroad in Japan and I'd like to try and get a job
there next year when I graduate but one of my hobbies is going shooting. Obviously that doesn't fit well with Japan but I do know that there are shooting ranges
I just don't know about the license I'm sure I would have to have and anything else.
Anyone have experience with this or have any info? Also I should add I'm talking about long range rifles.
Thanks, and glad to be here this website seems really useful and I'll try to help anytime I can.

Just walk through Shinjuku Station and shoot at the clay pigeons

    or

The Tokorozawa Shooting Range is a firing range located in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan. It hosted the trap shooting part of the shooting events for the 1964 Summer Olympics in neighboring Tokyo.

The Asaka Shooting Range was a firing range constructed for the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Constructed in early 1964 in Asaka, Saitama, it hosted the pistol and rifle shooting and the shooting part of the modern pentathlon.

This post got me kind of hooked on the thought of starting shooting. Did some searches online, and am considering trying to sign up for the introductory lesson next month. I do however doubt that they will let me attend. I have a somewhat irregular visa status that will prevent me from getting some of the documentation they require.
When in doubt, find nearest Hanbey.
