Default Suggested Japanese reading material for the visually impaired?

    Hello,

I'm trying to work on my Japanese language skills and would like to try reading some simplified material as practice (newspapers, books, manga, etc. - pretty much anything that isn't a textbook). Unfortunately, I am visually impaired. While I am able to read printed hiragana fairly easily, kanji and furigana are quite difficult for me to read. This being said, does anyone have any suggestions for where I could find some material to practice reading that is either available online or printed in a large enough size that I can read?

    Thank you

Can't you just ctrl++ to increase the font size in the browser? it sounds like your problem is small font, so just increase the font size. just about every application that displays text will allow you to manipulate the font size.

Increasing the font or image size works so long as whatever I'm trying to read is in an electronic format; unfortunately, not everything that might be beneficial for me to practice with is necessarily available in such a format.

I've taken two years of Japanese in college; I wouldn't say my Japanese is great, but I'd like to think that I could begin reading some simple stuff. The problem I have, aside from getting recommendations on things to try reading (I could still use some of these...), is making sure that they're available in a format I can use (either a large print copy or an electronic version).

The "Hiragana Times" magazine would be a good example of what I'm talking about.
