Default RO & DI filter systems

Does anyone know where I can get an inexpensive filter system in Japan?
I need to process between 75-100gallons per day should do it.
Even if it's an aquarium set up that's fine too.
I have looked but can only find monsters of overpriced trickling systems.
    Cheers

Last I checked, which to be fair was near a decade ago, RO systems were most definitely not available at a cheap price.
The only thing in Japan that is harder than being a foreigner in Japan, is being Japanese in Japan.

If it's just a basic system for aquarium or the likes. Can get them in eBay from the states but as I need to continue getting replacement filters I would rather get it in Japan.

If you are using reverse osmosis, producing 100 gallons of purified water will use 500 gallons of waste water. It's an effective, but very inefficient system.

What do you need the water for? What are you trying to get out of it? Have you considered making your own filter? Charcoal, sand and gravity make a pretty good filter for many purposes.

    Default Cleaning

It will be used for cleaning, the water I get is free and I haven't tested it yet. Hopefully I only need a DI filter if the water ends up being relativley clean.
Do you think that the waste water from the RO process could be recycled to minimize waste or is it defeating the process?
