How to avoid PayPal fee?

I send an invoice of \1000 JPY after paypal fee I only got \908 JPY. If I want to change this to EURO I loose more, because of PayPal's expensive conversation rate.

I remember if someone sends you money on paypal as personal/private payment you avoid the paypal fee. Is this still true?

I use this for english "lessons" on skype. Are there any other convenient payment methods?

I don't have japanese bank account and I don't think its possible to open one overseas.

Increase your fee to cover the Paypal fee.
