His posting doesn't bother me as much as you, but I just don't understand it - I could think of a million things better to do with my day then spend hours on a forum in/for/about a country that I don't even live in. If he focused that energy on actually getting/being here, he would have been here in half the time he's been a member.

The only times I've ever become a member of a forum focused around life in another country is in the month or two before I visit, so I can get a feel for what the people who live there are saying. After I get back home, I have about zero interest in said forums.

Particularly, I like the "mobile phone in front of the face taking a picture in a mirror" profile picture. I wonder if these girls are just really ugly or what, but I used to have a collection of profile pictures and all the cameras and mobile phones were covering their faces.
