    Default Disposable Phones in Japan

I need a cell phone for basically a 2 week period. I already have my personal cell with docomo, but need another number for 2 weeks while I am organizing an event. I do not want to give my personal number to the participants and staff for the event. Anyone have any suggestions?

I checked out prepaid phones from AU and Softbank. In stores, both would cost me about 10,000 yen to start that includes a 3000 yen card good for 60 days.
To me, it is a bit pricey for just 2 weeks of use. If you know of any other option, I would appreciate any info.

Honestly, I want a disposable phone, like the ones you can buy at walmart for cheap, but they don't seem to be available in Japan.

You want something, for nothing, while hiding your real contact details......
    Do you sell used cars??

I don't want something for nothing, and yes I want to hide my contact details. No, I am not selling used cars. I do not want students calling my personal cell phone number. It is not for them. I could get an entirely new phone contract, etc. etc., but I am just asking for more options. Obviously you have none.

I thought about this. Do you know where I could rent a phone outside of an airport? I am not near an airport location. I don't think any of the regular cell phone carriers in Japan rent phones.

    Ever heard of google ?

"Pick up your phone from the counter at the airport. You can also have it delivered to an address that you specify such as a house or place of work."

Visit your local Docomo office and ask about "Multi-number" service (マルチナンバー). You should be able to get a second number on the same phone for 525 yen/month, with a set-up charge of 1050.

    Good rates, great service.

Of course, you will have to actually do something yourself and contact them.

Or would you like us to arrange it for you???
