If it's Junior High school then the Japanese is ’†“™ŠwZB Senior High school is ‚“™ŠwZ

Think "koutougakkou" (‚“™ŠwZ) or simply "koukou" (‚Z) should be OK in most cases. So if you went to ABC High School, you could just write ABC‚“™ŠwZ@or ABC‚Z.

However, you can get more specific if you like since there are different types of high schools in Japan. Some specialize in certain areas such as:

    €‹Ζ‚“™ŠwZ: Shougyou Koutougakkou (Business)
    H‹Ζ‚“™ŠwZ: Kougyou Koutougakkou (Technical)
    ”_‹Ζ‚“™ŠwZF Nougyou Koutougakkou (Agricultural)

While others are more general/college prepratory types of schools:
    ‘‡‚“™ŠwZ: Sougou Koutougakkou (General/Comprehensive/College-Prep)

You can also add more info using prefixes such as:

    ’jŽq- Danshi (All boys)
    —Žq- Jyoshi (All girls)
    Œ§—§/‘—§- Prefectural/National
    Ž„—§- Private

    etc., etc.

Most junior high schools (JHS) and senior high schools (SHS) here are for three years each. Grades 7, 8, 9 are typically JHS and 10, 11, 12 are SHS. Not sure how it is in your home country but I'm pretty sure that a Japanese high school freshman (first year student) is roughly the same (age wise) as an American high school sophmore (2nd year student).

    Hope that helps.
