Um, yes it did. The girl at the bar was only interested in foreign acting foreigners. Paul thought he was hip with the chicks but they were only interested in him because he was a foreigner speaking English. Did you even watch it???

I clicked the link you provided and it was a class setting and they were talking about different nationalities and colors! The black guy and the guy Paul that came at the end of the class were trying to be skivvy. but the woman playing teacher was having none of that! Then there was a scene in a "teachers" room(?) were a blond gaijin (?) woman was asking about buying some guy a necktie.

The woman acting as the class teacher has the hots for Paul but she will not admit it. In the next scene the teacher walks into her class and notices that one student seems to be having some physical troubles, she asks what is wrong and he explains that his back is tight and then the others list their assorted ailments and from there we go to a scene where Paul admits to eating nato yet we never see him actually put the crap in his mouth. The teacher pisses Paul off by bitching about him not attending school and he tells her to get out, when she does she sees Paul's "girlfriend" getting into a taxi and kissing some other guy, so she decides Paul needs to know. She figures out how to get Paul to realize that his "GF" is just a slut.

She does so by enlisting the help of the male students, and there is a scene where Paul by his "GF: that she doesn't like the fact that he eats nato and that she likes "non-Japanese acting gaijins" Poor Paul is heart-broken and wants to go back to England, to become a gaijin for his gf again. The teacher is against that but finally the head teacher tells him "if that what you want go". But the teacher saves the day and gets a bunch of Japanese people to go to Paul's work place and show him that he can be a part of Japanese society. Final scene they are in hung-over and in the teachers room and Paul comes in and lets the teacher know that he knows she got the hot for him and he promises to try much harder in school.

Wow! and you associate this to "Gaijin Hunters"? 3 young girls who want to learn English and a slutty "GF" who wants a non-too Japanese acting" boyfriend? I think you did not see the whole video. I thin the title of your thread should have been "How Japanese tend to meddle too much into what Gaijins are doing" Typical crap that is on late at nights on J-TV. Next time try to find some old "11:00 pm Shows" at least they were more entertaining.

　Exactly. The crux of the story was that Paul was only hip with those girls because he was an English speaking foreigner = gaijin hunters. Haruko and the gang set out to prove it and do. The lesson being such girls are not worth it, it's better to have friends who like you for who you really are.

You're totally right, it has nothing to do with gaijin hunting and has more to do with being a copy of that old British drama 'Mind Your Language'' which isn't shown anymore because it's considered racist.
