    Exclamation no confusion

Soft spoken and good natured Casper whom has never done a selfesh act, or betrayed anyone.Except when he strangled an elderly lady because he could not handle a silly piece of criticism over his cartoon show updated a few years ago.
    Shame on you Casper.

    Exclamation woooo hooooo

This website links to a commercial that was being shot over in Europe somewhere. When the filming was done and the tape was viewed, the crew noticed a ghostly figure passing along in front of the car. They never aired the commercial because it scared the crew too much. Watch the car closely as it moves along. If you turn your speakers up, you can also hear a strange, eerie sound as the figure moves along by the car. Very spooky. Don't let children watch.

Batwoman, I watched that five times and I still jumped each time! You deserve instant sensei status for that. Did you see the other video on that site? Not quite about ghosts, but funny nonetheless:

Glad you all liked it, suprised you hadn`t seen it already, think it did the e-mail forward rounds quite a bit and was on British TV just a couple of weeks ago I heard...

Foxy, sorry, didn`t mean to scare you too much!!

Wolfie, what game is that? I love scary vid games, they`re the best. I`ve played all the Silent Hill ones, the most recent one scared me quite a bit...

OOoOOoohh o_o!! This scared me..far FAR more than silent hill ever did (I played every game in that series).
This is a game named Project 0 in Japan, or in America they renamed it "Fatal Frame".
The pic above is from the sequal to the game...both were scarey as hell. The first one was unlike any videogame I had played before and kinda bases it's scariness on japanese shinto ritual- having just enough fact in it to make it HORRIFYINg D:. You MUST check them out- my other friend threw her controller across the room within the first 10 minutes saying it was too triggering XD (the controller hit me in th ehead).
I highly recommend the series. (and they're making a third one! X3 *squeeee*!!)
The originals are for PS 2 platform..though they've made it for the X-box now I think. However, much like everything microsoft touches they changed it a "bit" >:|

Apparently Japan is full of ghosts and other disgrunted spirts. A friend of mine from Kyoto said shes seen lots down there. The whole of Okinawa is supposed to be haunted due to the war. Kamakura has lots of spooks I here too. I've been often Japanese ghosts are often women in white robes with no feet. Why this is so is beyond me.

I live right next to a supposedly "haunted" shito shrine but I havent seen anything. Annoying teenagers make a racket outside my window some nights, daring each other to go up and then they run away in thrills. I went up myself once, at night, 2am, just for a laugh. Didn't see any ghosts but I must admit the whole place just felt creepy and wrong somehow. My GF (who "doesnt believe in ghosts") called me an idiot for doing that. ?????

If I see any spooks Ill be sure to get a snap and post here. Now is the season I hear...

ps Wolfie, I checked that game out on the net, it looks cool. Bet though all versions you can buy here are in Japanese though, but maybe it doesn't matter.

Yeah..its always the long black hair and white kimono. Even Sadako from Ringu wore a white dress. The game is very traditional in the way that a lot of the ghosts fit that description...

xD I realized just *yesterday* after living here for 2 months that I live next to a Shinto Shrine and graveyard LOL. I must have been distracted by the liquor store thats the only building between me and it. Interesting that you say that about your girlfriend. I was at a temple once with my friends family in Shizouka..and I was like " o.O..WHOOOooOOooo..that's the COOLEST lookin Hakaba I've seen in a while!" All the gravestones looked like shiney black marble X3. So like a Magpie I went int o look around. I realized after 5 minutes that Iw as completely alone....looked down the steps and my friend and her whole family were just standing there staring at me refusing to come up. Like they just WOULDNT o_O. They even told me not to take any pictures. And then we drove home and were having dinner and I asked them about it, and her Dad like, laughed at the concept of ghosts "There are no ghosts! HAHAHAHAHA..>___>...you didnt take pictures did you stupid Canadian?". Like, they refused to go near it...yet at home say there's no such thing o_o. Their in DENIAL about their own fear. And Jay..if you play those games you'll never be wandering around that shrine again at night. Also...WHY ARE YOu WANDERING AROUND A HAUNTED SHRINE you wacky caucasian? >:|..dont you know it just takes like ONCE for them to grab ya and pull you into something horrible! There are no second chances havent you watched Ju-on?
I've played the first game in english and the second in japanese. I understood enough to be ok- but the information in the games is kinda vital to the character staying alive. Perhaps play with your girlfriend (its actually interesting to watch for others too). She can tell you any information you need to know (like the kanji for camera lenses "Blast", "Freeze"..etc

Ive always been facinated by ghosts. Ive felt a prescince sometimes but never seen one. My friends and I often hung out at a graveyard back home, stoned, just to see if we can see anything. Never did. Ive never done a sayonce (sp?) or anything though. I stay away from that ocult sh*t, it just doesn't sit right with me.

Me personlly, I believe in ghosts but I don't believe they can hurt the living, at least pyhsically. I was brought up in a Christian family (no, Im not a Bible basher and I rarely go to church) but lately have been getting into Zen Buddhism and both are quite clear in their writings that the living have nothing to fear from the dead.

Besides the living are sometimes much more worrying.......

My GF is really funny though about ghosts like most Japanese. She says she doesnt believe in God, or Ghosts or an afterlife, but still goes home in the summer for the holiday when your ancestors some back (can't remember what its called), prays at temples/shrines and, gets way more creeped out than me when we visit spooky places.

The Japanese often say they are athesist but are they really?

    I subscribe to the church of "Cover My ___" (founder: wolfgang). Means I believe in being aware of everything and anything, not denying the existance of whatever- so I don't ____ anything or anyone off :/. It's like that Rowan Atkinson skit where he plays the Devil and he's got a list and is trying to organize the souls of the damned in an orderly fashion. He said something like;
"Catholics, Protestants, and miscellaneous christians please line up over there. I'm sure most of you are shocked, but Im afraid the Jews were right."
So Im thinkin I die..I get to the beyond- it's something perhaps I didnt expect yet didn't deny either, and in general Im not so bad so they let me in <__<.
I dont wanna ____ off ghosts. Especially here. They're MEAN o_O.

I would pay money to see a real, actual, can't be proven to be a fake ghost. Or even a picture or video of said spirit. So many places claim to have ghost pictures, but so far none of them have anything that is remotely convincing.

I guess I'm just too much of a skeptic.

I was talking to this guy once when I was in Italy- he was studying some kinda sciences and I can't remember how we got onto the ghost topic- but he said that many scientists who are enthusiasts about otherworldly things (in their off time) claim that a lot of the photos, and video of ghosts and hauntings and all that shite are actually held up by The Vatican. The Catholic religion is the only christian religion that has an official written exorcism ceremony. So a lot of times if everyday people believe they're being haunted or what not a lot of them look to the Catholic church as a last resort for help (they look to science first..all those paranormal expert guys who are eager to test the equips). Catholic priests are actually trained to be skeptics. The exorcism ceremony is scarcely performed anymore because tons of peopel will call a priest- the priest is told to walk into the haunted (house lets say) not believing in anything and has to be convinced overwhelmingly that something aint right. Then he reports back to the high priest and that guy checks it out...they;re supposedly THE most difficult people to convince of any paranormal activity. And if they are convinced beyond a doubt, they'll perform an exorcism but all the evidence if any, is taken with them and then probably put into the "we dont want anyone to see this :B" Vault at ther Vatican.
*que spooky music*...Ive been to The Vatcian City o_O..they got a lot of crap. I mean like...a huge museum of greek statues and ..that stuff..Ill shut up now XD

Regarding being a skeptic, that is good IMO. Some people (esp some "new age" people Ive meet) believe this stuff way too easily and talk about it like a matter of fact. However our scientific knowledge is nowhere near complete and we still have much to learn. 500 years ago you would have been laughed at to suggest tiny animals we can't see cause illness and burned for suggesting the Earth orbits the Sun. Today these are common knowledge. To dismiss the supernatural, I believe, is shortsighted. There are some sciencetist that take ghosts very seriously, so maybe one day they might find something but Im not holding my breath.

btw OT Rowen Atkinson is awesome. I just LOVE Blackadder.

ps. has anyone seen a Korean movie called Voice? Kind of a "Ring" rip off, but the possesed little girl in it is an awesome actress.

I'd love to be more of a skeptic. Im no where near new age hippy type lol. The topic really interests me, but I've met people who think they talk to spirits daily <_<. And that WASN'T when I was in the hospital.
I think it comes down to being a ginormous fraidy cat lol. If I was witha group of my little friends..and one of them said "I hear that old, broken down house up there has some kind of paranormal evil creature living in it..on some nights the town folk say they see it staring at people through the left upstairs window. And 6 years ago 7 college students went into that house and were found there horrible mutilated. The police CLAIM they were into some cult stuff..but the towners...they KNOW it was that evil presence. Let's go check it out ! The person who makes it to the upper left window first and waves from it gets a free Coke!

....NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I'd like..move to another city XD ..good god Im a coward

Used to listen to these guys on my way home way back when. Always made me laugh.

Sorry, but an expert in the field holds little weight with me unless they can come up with empirical proof that such a thing exists.

I thought the Voice was good, I was pretty scared watching that... A lot of Asian horror kicks arse IMO. I`ve seen others but have no idea what they`re called... Got to say, the first time I watched the Exorcist I was pretty freaked out.

Wolfie, thanks for the game name. I am sadly without PSII at the moment, first time in years and miss it greatly. I`ll be sure to watch out for that one when I get re-equipped. I`ve heard the new Resident Evil is pretty good, called something else here, can`t remember off the top of my head... I finished all the other ones but they were getting a bit samey after a while...
