Hmmm... I would have to take a little look on ebay before I could tell you that.

for the doctor you should seek out one of your otaku friends who has a ton of VHS tapes.
I know in the states I have a few friends who taped the good doctor for years and have the library to prove it.
DVD being a regional thing, I might steer away from. You can't use it in england if you buy it in Japan and vice versa

    Default region 2

Hello, just to add to the previous poster, I have had no problems with british dvds in my japanese dvd player and tv. for some region, Japan and the UK are both region 2. The only problem you might have is with the PAL / NTSC changeover, but again, I haven't had that problem either. I saw a multi region dvd player here in England for 25 quid, they seem to be the norm rather than the exception.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...063430-8020659 has a whole bunch of dvds

Sure you can... either buy a "All region DVD player" or re-burn the DVDs with a region code of 0 (for all regions)...
    Nothing easy is greatly rewarding.
